About the Event

Join us for our 6th annual Tails To The Trails charity event at Metro Beach in Harrison Township and help raise funds for A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue. Bring your furry four legged friends for some good old-fashion tail wagging fun, food and prizes.

So how can you get in on some of the action you may ask?

1. Become a Spon­sor or Vendor.

   We are looking for local businesses that love animals and would like to advertise their business while helping a good cause. See the different sponsorship options here.
   By becom­ing a spon­sor or ven­dor for the Tails To The Trails walk, you can make a difference for the animals we rescue every day. Every lit­tle bit helps when an animal’s life is on the line, which is why there are spon­sor­ship pack­ages rang­ing from $150 to $1000+. 2. Mark your calendars!!!

   The event will be on September 29th, 2017 at Metro Beach in Harrison Township Run/Walk begins at 10:00am.

3. Walk.

   Ask your friends, fam­ily mem­bers, co-workers, and any­one you can think of to walk with you!

   Registration begins at 9:30 am or register online

   Adult 5K registration- $30.00 Until July 31, $35 After

   Kids 5K registration- $15.00 Until July 31, $20 After
   
   Virtual 5K- $35 (includes t shirt and bib)

   Dogs $5.00 (register on site or dogs via email Arejoycefulrescue@yahoo.com)

   Registration Includes free pizza lunch and custom t-shirt.

Registration Includes pizza and finisher prize.

Deadline to receive a shirt with your race entry is September 20th at midnight.

Top male and female runner will win a prize. Also, fastest dog will win a prize basket. Small Prize for all finishers.

Stick around before and after the race for raffles, 50/50, rescue swag merchandise, bake sale, face painting, fly ball demonstrations, vendors, adoptable dogs, and so much more!

A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity located in the Metro-Detroit area. They are a no-kill foster based rescue. The walk/run will help A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue continue their mission to medically treat, rehabilitate and ultimately find forever homes for sick, abandoned, abused and neglected animals.

So, put your racing shoes on and come on out for a tail wagging good time to support a great cause. Bring your furry four legged friends too for some good old-fashion fun, food and fun.
